Mary Paintings

Welcome to my Mary Paintings, depicting the gentle and formidable female power that is embodied by goddesses such as the Virgin Mary, Ishtar, Kali, Hekate, Kuan-Yin. In my work, I honor and celebrate the essence of feminist spirituality in its true sense, promoting love, respect, and peace, brought forth by chaos and change.  To express this mystery in a visual language often I use organically created, painted images of  geometric fractals.  The paintings are mostly on wood panels, in acrylic and mixed media.
